There is something intentional about calling it Season I.
Not Season 1. Not the debut collection. Not the first drop. Season I — the Roman numeral deliberate, the weight of history built into the name. Because what RMF is building was never meant to be casual. It was never meant to be seasonal in the way fashion usually means seasonal — here today, forgotten by spring. Season I is a beginning that knows it will be remembered.
The Roman numeral matters because permanence matters.
I is a single stroke. Clean. Upright. Unwavering. When you write I you are not hedging. You are not trending. You are marking something. You are saying: this is where it starts, and we will number everything that follows because this story has chapters and each chapter deserves to be counted.
RMF was born from loss. The brand exists because Terrel Peete existed — because he mattered enough that the people who loved him refused to let his memory shrink into silence. Season I is the first physical expression of that refusal. Every piece in the collection carries the weight of that origin without trying to explain it in a slogan or package it into a logo.
You either feel it when you wear it or you don't. That is not a judgment. It is simply how grief works. It is not for everyone to understand at first touch.
But for those who have lost someone — for those who carry someone in the back of every day, in the quiet between songs, in the way certain Tuesdays in October never feel like just a Tuesday — Season I will feel like something was made for them. Because it was.
Season II will come. III. IV. Each one a new chapter, each one still rooted in the same reason this brand exists at all.
But right now, there is Season I. And Season I is enough.
